What all is included in a food or product photography session?

Once we select your session date we will select a time for a brief pre-planning meeting either via phone, zoom, or in-person. For food photography, we will arrive at your business the day of your session to create visually stunning ways to show off your chosen masterpieces. For product photography, the location will be determined beforehand, either on location or in the studio. The length of your session will be determined by how many dishes, drinks, and/or products we are photographing. Your images will be available to be selected within two weeks of your session either in person at our studio or via online gallery. 

How do we view our images?

Within two weeks of your session you will be able to view your images. This can either be done so in-studio or via an online gallery. We do highly recommend viewing your images at our studio as our computers are calibrated for accurate printing and we can discuss any additional editing considerations. 

How do we receive our images?

Once you have made your final image selections, if no further editing considerations need to be made, your images will be delivered immediately following selection if paid in full. If additional editing is requested, images will be delivered within two weeks of selections. Your images are delivered via online gallery in high resolution for print and web resolution. 

What do I need to know before calling for an estimate?

You can call or email us at any point! Just getting started and unsure of where to start? Call us! Do you know exactly what you need and what we will be photographing? Call us! We’re happy to answer questions at any point in your journey and help you build the perfect session. If you’d like to prepare for our call or email, here are some of the questions you can think about:

  • What type of food or product will we be photographing?
  • How many dishes of each type and drinks will we be capturing? How many products will we be capturing?
  • How many edited images do you need?
  • Are these images for your menu, website, social media, or all of the above?
  • Do you have a specific vision?
  • Are there certain days & times we can shoot and do you have a deadline? Will these images be done at your business or in the studio?

– But don’t worry if you can’t answer any of these before reaching out. We will help guide you throughout the entire process!

If we need it, are other types of photography available?

Yes! We also offer product photography, branding sessions, and headshots. Product photography is an excellent idea for restaurants that sell their sauces or other packaged food products along with gift shop items. Restaurant branding photography is all encompassing and includes food, chef and kitchen staff action images, and more depending on your needs. Product branding photography includes images of you or your team working with clients, of your shop, and so much more. Headshots are an excellent idea for your owners, management team, and chefs. The more images we are able to capture, the more complete the story we are able to tell about your business. These images can be used for your menu, website, social media, and any media such as magazines articles and blogs.
